Outstanding students

In addition to the Educational Support to young people, DEWA CHE Foundation is also happy to have financed the PHD course for Gongbu Tsering, an outstanding student who comes from the Drehor Region, Drago County. Gongbu Tsering, finished his MA in Environmental Management at the University in the Philippines and is currently doing PhD at the University in Beijing, majoring in Natural Resources Management. He has been working in community development projects for nearly six years and implemented over 20 small-scale development projects that generate benefits to the local communities in most needed and poor areas of Tibet.
